Antique English Kindling Cutting Stool

A wonderfully rustic antique wooden footstool with the kind of character that can only come from age and years of use. The thick, beautifully worn plank seat has a lovely hand-hewn quality, with visible grain, knots, and natural imperfections throughout.

The legs retain traces of an old, richly weathered blue-green painted finish, creating a beautiful contrast against the warm, aged wood.

Left over green and blue paint. The most charming stool to see a firplace or your kitchen.

Not only is it beautiful but INCREDIBLE unique. As when you flip it over you can see the traces of use for cutting kindling on the board and throwing it into the fire.

Very sturdy, and ready for 100 more years of use.
