19th Century Green Spanish Gargoulette Water Jug
Antique French or Spanish small gargoulette. A traditional, often unglazed, porous terracotta jug or pitcher used for centuries across the Mediterranean, particularly in France and Spain, to store and naturally cool drinking water through evaporation.
This features the most beautiful green speckled glaze. Chipping on the glaze throughout creating a charming texture on this 19th century pottery.
