Mother of Pearl and Abalone Calling Card Case

The 1800's cellphone. A case holding card for greetings, roll call, and condolences. Historically, this accessory was an essential part of 18th and 19th century social customs, when strict etiquette required visitors to present calling cards to servants or leave them on trays while visiting friends and acquaintances.

Minor imperfections in the shell, such as scuffs, flea bites. Clasp works great. Includes a calling card.
