Landscape Autumn Oil on Vanvas William Henry Vernon

William Henry Vernon a 19th-century British landscape painter born in 1820 and died in 1909. He was known for his rural scenes, often featuring farms, cattle, and pastoral landscapes. The painting portrays a peaceful forest scene featuring a woman, a man, and a terrier walking along a rustic path.  It is a warm, nostalgic piece presented in a carved gold wood and gesso frame. The leaves are turning colors signifying the coming season of fall. The light in the background illuminates the trees. The artist signature is noted in the bottom left corner, as well as the back. 

Disclaimers: This paintings frame has multiple chips around the frame on the corners, as well as dings and scratches. The canvas has some paint loss. A professional repair on the back. There is a small hole in the top middle of the canvas about the size of a pencil lead. There is a small tear in the left corner in the trees. 

Measurements: Approximately 16.5"x 12.5"
